This course is offered in a dynamic hybrid format, combining engaging online content with hands-on in-studio training to solidify your knowledge. To obtain your mat Pilates qualification, you’ll complete over 125 hours of comprehensive learning, which includes:
- 8 days of in-person learning spread across 2 weeks in Melbourne, Victoria
- 15 hours of observation
- 30 hours of practice teaching
- 30 hours of personal practice

- Familiarise yourself with body planes and directional terminology.

- Recognise different spine and pelvis positions.

- Understand functional movement and causes of imbalance.
Module 4 - The Skeletal System:
- Summarise components and functions of the skeletal system.
- Differentiate between axial and appendicular skeletons.
- Identify types of joints in the skeletal system.
Module 5 - The Muscular System:
- Understand types of muscle contractions.
- Identify muscles of the upper and lower limbs, pelvic floor, head, face, neck, vertebral column, and core.
Module 6 - Other Human Body Systems:
- Understand the structure and function of the circulatory, respiratory, nervous, digestive, and endocrine systems.
- Identify interconnections and interactions between these systems.
Module 7 - Working with Clients:
- Understand roles, responsibilities, and scope of practice for Pilates instructors.
- Learn effective communication skills and client management techniques.
